We're here to help! Thank you for visiting our online store at Medicap Health
and Wellness, your ONLY source for quality nutrition. Medicap Pharmacy is a family owned and
operated, independent pharmacy located in Raleigh, NC. Unlike most online stores we don’t just exist
in the cloud. We are here to serve you in person also! We specialize in
education that focuses on lifestyle, diet, and proper targeted professional
nutritional supplementation. Our expertise in custom prepared compounds and
compression hosiery has been an additional focus for us. We have been helping
people achieve optimal health through quality nutrition since 2001. I have been in the pharmacy business for over 30 years. I started my career with the family owned
Kerr Drugs chain. I was so excited to help people improve their health by
sharing my knowledge of the prescription medications they were being prescribed.
As I watched customers, friends, and
family members addressing their health with just pharmaceuticals, I realized
that there was a missing piece. While
medications had their place, they often did not restore people to health they
way I had hoped they would. I did my research and decided to go back to school to learn
about nutrition. In 2001 I became a
Certified Clinical Nutritionist and I opened my own independent pharmacy where
I would have more control over the products I carried and recommended. I made a commitment to only carry quality
products at the best possible price. I
wanted to be able to make a difference and I have. Our store has grown from our humble beginnings in 2001. In 2009 I married my wife, Lauren, a licensed
acupuncturist who shares my

passion for nutrition. Together we travel to at least 6 conferences
a year all over the country to learn the latest information about health and
nutrition. We both do consults in the
store and are also available to do consultations by phone. 
My daughter, Kaylan, joined our store as our lead pharmacist
in 2010. She makes sure everything runs
smoothly when we are away at conferences and is becoming quite the functional
